I have spent years serving our community, working to keep our families safe. Many of you know me from my time as a first responder with the Elkin Fire Department, or through my current roles as Chief and Treasurer of the Elkin Rescue Squad. Beyond public safety, I am also a co-owner of Surry Maintenance Service. and serve as the treasurer of the Yadkin Valley Chamber of Commerce. Recently, I have been asked by members of our community to bring this hands-on experience to the town board. I am stepping up to run because I want to dedicate my background in public service and local business to working for all of you.
I believe that being a good steward of your tax dollars is one of the most important responsibilities of public service. When I say we need to spend wisely, I mean we must treat every single dollar with the respect it deserves. These are your hard-earned dollars, and you deserve to see them used effectively to support our community. If elected, I will make sure we approach our budget with care, transparency, and a commitment to real value. My focus will always be on stretching every dollar to serve our neighbors best, ensuring we are responsible, accountable, and focused on what truly matters to our community. Together, we can make sure our local government works efficiently for everyone.
